You know, those obscure little independent places tucked away in the oddest of streets selling all manner of useful things. It could be food (marvellous fishmongers, butchers, exotic greengrocers, ethnic food shops, and so on), could be hardware (a place where you can buy all sorts of bits and bobs), could be hobbyist (comics, videos etc).
Oh, by the way, this is a call for entries.
