Yes fine, but where exactly were the old Towers?

so at the next pilgrimage I find you by spotting the lost looking bloke wandering around London with a bunch of petunias in his hand

I've been in the original Towers.
When there was just Peta and Abi and Mark and Jim.
And the dolls.
But it was Mina who took me there, I couldn't find it again.

I'm sure I have the address somewhere, but it would be much easier for someone who actually knows to tell you, rather than for me to go looking for it...

Oh thank you moderators for finally returning these threads...
Although Isn't it a strange coincidence that these postings didn't come back until a few weeks _after_ Mark had left the site...
Hmmm, mightily suspicious if you ask me! I reckon he'd been hiding them in his desk draw all this time.

We used to be at:
11 Maiden Lane
Covent Garden
The basement stank, the lift was an ancient metal cage, the room was tiny and I had an Ikea desk that 'walked' around the office of its own accord. But it was lovely!

Don't forget the Absolutely Fabulous pictures on the walls around the stairs around the elevator!!
And the very "natural" chrimbo decorations

Peta Posted Oct 21, 2002
Those Chrimbo decorations were a masterpiece! The art team decorated the office for our party with sprayed silver branches all around the wall. It was beautiful!

Hmmm... what an interesting conversation - and how on did it pass Moderation?
*tries to remember how she found this thread*
*tries again*
*fails utterly*
Oh - and just for the record - no, I haven't!

I went there with U113749 and Peta took our photo. Every time we are in that part of London we walk past and wave.
I sat in MM's chair!

LOL, I remember it very well!
The building looks very different now, it's gone all posh and it has a fish tank in reception. When we were there it had a whole pile of boxes because the cellar got to damp to store them in. Amongst the boxes just sitting in public view were the original tapes of first recording of the Hitchhiker's Guide, Douglas had them, they must have been worth loads in collectable value.

You did?
Can't imagine you as a highwayman!
A tank?
that's posh!
Did they move the Starship Titanic poster? Or is that the one *I* have - that you all autographed?
