Sleep

Through many long years of exhaustive research, we have found sleep can be avoided temporarily, but not forever. Like taxes or bad curry, it will catch up with you eventually. It is vitally important that (like the previous items) you let it do so occasionally, but put it off as long as possible.
The best way to keep yourself from sleep is drugs. Clearly, have a word with your local religious specialist to see if the drugs you want to take won't harm your immortal soul. The religious afficianado should have a list of dangerous activities and consult you as to which ones are most dangerous. This should give you the best idea of what will work best to avoid sleep.
The second best cure for sleep is not a rock-and-roll concert as many may think (though a rock-and-roll concert is a good source for the drugs to keep you awake), but is the deviously simple computer, or the "What Day Is It?" device.
Applied with proper interfaces (or "Game Software"), the "What Day Is It" device can stall sleep so long that your alpha brainwave pattern may start to resemble Kansas or, perhaps more aptly, your paycheck.
