How to get rid of red wine stains

0 Conversations

If you spilled red wine and do nothing, the stains will probably last longer than the thing you´ve spilled it on. Especially clothes and carpets will be dyed forever! So:

1. Act quickly! As long as the red wine is fresh, you can take it off completely.

2. Open a bottle of WHITE wine. Prefably you wish to take one you didn´t plan to drink anyway.

3. Soak the cloth / carpet etc. with plenty of white wine.

4. Add lots of salt (NaCl).

5. Rub gently. Put the cloth in the washing machine, clean the carpet with a usual carpet cleaning device.
