Having a shandy beer on the Maldives

One of the most refreshing drinks you may wish to have on the Maldives is the shandy beer, especially when you return from SCUBA diving. A very unpleasant detail in having a shandy beer there is however that on most islands they charge you a whole beer (US$ 3.-) and a whole sprite (US$ 2,50.-), although they use only half of each to make one shandy beer.
To save some money, choose one of the following alternatives:
1. Drink a plain beer.

2. Ask a person of your choice to have a shandy beer with you. Order a beer, a sprite and an extra beerglass and blend the shandies yourself (makes US$ 2,75.- each instead of US$ 5,50.-).
