The 10th and last Shots in the Dark, crime and mystery festival. Over the decade Shots has premiered films like The Silence of the Lambs, Pulp Fiction and Grosse Point Blank.

The opening gala movie is the new British, gangster movie - Gangster No. 1 starring Malcolm McDowell, David Thewlis, Paul Bettany and Saffron Borrows. Directed by Paul McGuigan.

The closing gala is Gone in 60 Seconds - the British Premiere of the New Nicholas Cage movie also starring Angelina Jolie, Giovanni Ribisi and James Duval. Directed by Dominic Sena.

In between there's a chance to see thriller, crime and mystery films from the US, Uk and Europe. Plus an illustrated talk by Adrian Wooton (Director of the London Film Festival) on the work of cult crime novelist David Goodis.

So for Shots in the Dark it's - Farewell, My Lovely. Stay tuned for info on the exciting, new Out Of Sight - the international film and television archive festival starting on 11 June 2000.
