Beefeater Pub-restaurants

As the name suggests, the food may well be sligthly limited in variety. There are usually a couple of versions of steaks and the odd burger derivative, but expand into territory beyond a certain type of meat and you are likely to be disappointed, not to mention restricted in your selection of meal.
The rooms are often spacious due to the concentration on the restaurant trade but will often fill up later as the patrons come in for the evening meal. Sunday lunches tend to be busy too especially with the children adding to the trade.
These pubs, therefore, are not noted for their alcohol, unusual as that is. They can provide a nice meal if you want something predictable and ordinary and tend to be of reasonable prices. Good place to go if you don't want your children screaming that they won't eat something because it looks icky.
