Ok princess- here's the crux:
If we pay now, it's only (!) £49 but if we book and pay later its £66.
I can't really afford to be out of pocket £50 I'm afraid so are you happy for me to book the £66 option?

I thought that it took your card details but did not swipe the payment if you know what I mean.
It will only reserve it for you - if you check your account the money won't have come out.
I could be wrong though - why not phone them and ask them?

I just rang them and they said you have to pay straight away. You can't reserve a room but apparently, there's no way to pay when you get there.
So what do we do????
