Nesodden
Created | Updated Jan 28, 2002
Nesodden is a tiny municipallity in Norway (you know; with the fjords and all), with only about 15,000 inhabitants. Nothing really seems to happen there; I've been stationed there for the last 18 years, and nothing has happened yet. But one should not give up hope, or what?
Sights and sounds
This section is rather empty, as nothing really happens. But it is quite close to Oslo, the capital of Norway; only 25 minutes across the fjord (!) with a really sloooow ferry. Try and look that up!
Happenings
Actually, when I come to think of it, something actually happened once. We had visit from a wolf some months ago. It walked right through Shiriken's garden. Big thing in the national media. But I get that just proves how far out in the country Nesodden actually is. I have no knowledge of possible happenings in the future.
History
When the first people came to Nesodden about 7,000 years ago, they thought: "What a nice place to go fishing, set up our huts and build our farms." That is about how far it got. Today, Nesodden is a nice place to set up huts, go fishing and build farms.
