A task insisted on by women over the age of thirty who can't afford the time, ironing is one of the many tasks thought necessary in polite society which actually contribute very little to the quality of life.

A virtue sometimes considered on par with a complete knowledge of hairspray brands and uses, and a top notch vacuum cleaner, ironing is often hot and sometimes sticky, particularly if you iron on the wrong side of an appliqué T-shirt. And irons should only be used on fabrics.

Ironing out the wrinkles in your skin will result in extensive burns with little steam hole marks at their centre.
