If you want to get away for a quiet weekend and don't want to go too far away from London then this small hotel is ideal. It only has nine rooms so there's no huge crowds of people, leaving the swimming pool deserted at most times of day.

The table d'hôte menu is varied and tasty and they do a weekend break for two for £175 which includes two nights bed, breakfast and evening meal¹.
