Secret agents are individuals associated with a government department such as the CIA1 in the United States, MI52 in the United Kingdom, or the KGB3 in Russia, whose job it is to gain sensitive information about rival or enemy governments while pretending to be a loyal citizen or employee. Secret agents are also known as spies.

For obvious reasons, most spies aren't famous. Those who are have generally failed at their job or been exposed.
