Secret agents are individuals associated with a government department such as the CIA¹ in the United States, MI5² in the United Kingdom, or the KGB³ in Russia, whose job it is to gain sensitive information about rival or enemy governments while pretending to be a loyal citizen or employee. Secret agents are also known as spies.
