Mountains - Take them away!

Who doesn't like a quiet and nice walk out in the nature?
I don't, but that's not the problem. The problem is mountains. Like here on Iceland we've got too much of them anyway and whe can't build as much as we would like to. The mountains are in the way. And they probable are everywhere.
So what can we do? I was thinking maybe we could move the mountains into the sea. Not a bad idea, the mountains could be moved into the sea and then we could make more space for us to build something nice. They are in the way anyway and they are dangerous. When people climb mountains, cycle on them and when too much of snow is on them they just throw it down in form of avalanches. By takeing them away we are doing us and the next generations to come a favour. We would be offering them to live safely and in no danger from mountains.
I think this is at least worth to consider.
