On this day, Mark Knopfler was born as son of Hungarian Jews in Glasgow. He is the band leader of dIRE sTRAITS and a well asked-for studio gutarist with famous players such as Bob Dylan or Willy DeVille. His fingered style had a high impact on the guitar playing world.
