In its long history, Manchester has created many bands that have influenced music and effected lives. The band called simply 'James'1 formed in 1983 and split up just under two decades later. In less then twenty years they created a cult phenomia that still has a large following today amongst happy club goers, and a special place in the heart of all Mancunians.
