h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

hi everyone! It's so nice to have a site where there are people who are as mad about blackadder as I am. Anyway, who watched best sitcom? maybe only fools and horses is funny, but I just can't understand why it wasn't blackadder! for one thing, the brilliant characters. you 've got the moody edmund, the hopeless but brilliant baldrick: who could wish for a better twosome? in each new series, each character has their own new spark. from the first to the last series, baldrick's stupidity is reduced to slightly below that of a squashed dungbeetle, and he gets all the more loveable for it. There are the "cunning plans" which are the blackadder trademark, and also some classic lines eg. melchett's cocker spaniel line, baldrick's ghoul story, and the one about the "booted boney thing." blackadder has lasted for generations, and it's still funny. It's also relevant: rule of king george, 1st world war, russian revolution...can't see why we shouldn't watch it in history! Finally the memorable and moving last episode, which was so powerful. So, for all you otther blackadder fans, let me know what you think and if you agree with me!
