The Gathering participants who register with h2g2 will be eligible for the first h2g2 Demo award, which recognises the talents and dedication of the demo writing teams.

Team members responsible for creating the best Demo of The Gathering 2000, will each receive a certificate and will have a gold h2g2 Gathering icon put on their h2g2 homepages. The winning Demo will be accessible through h2g2 for all the community to see.

Runners-up will be given silver icons, and a further 20 teams will be given accredited icons on their homepages.

What to Do

In order to be considered for this award, as a team member you must:

• Be a ticket holder of The Gathering 1900 (year 2000).

• Register individually on h2g2 and fill in your homepage, telling us which Demo team you belong to.

• Submit your demo to The Gathering co-ordinating team. (Look out for details at the event.)

We're anticipating that this will be a yearly award. It'll be fascinating to watch the progress of teams in the future. Good luck.
