any news yet?

...news just in....
...Andy has been described by some sources as 'a slack cow', and as yet is still extraordinarily unorganised.
Experts in the field have suggested she has spent too much time with the SRG, and they have had a adverse influence on her, as has been demonstrated with organising this meet
Also she is currently out of phone credit and so text messages are going unanswered...
So um yeah - that's where I am. The only thing I do know is that Sus and Babel-17 wont be coming cos they wont let him off work for this weekend, or quite possibly any weekend
Also I need to know if Jenny's coming, and if she needs to be on the last train home on Sat, if so then I'll have to get her back to Piccadilly for 9 or so. Not good. But then Fords did say something about eating earlier this time? Maybe about 7.
Not had many others say yes they're coming, but I'm still up for curry scoffing with whoever is still about! If there's gonna be less of us then I guess that means I don't have to worry about booking for a big group, & we can take our pick as we fancy.
What says you?
Fords & EV I think I saw you saying that you're coming in by train? You're welcome to stay here still however you're travelling, you've even inherited the guest bed as the other 2 have whimped out

Yes I'm still coming, although I'm ashamed to say I'd almost given the meet up for lost
So if the curry is at 7 that means meet in a pub somewhere in town for 5-5.30?
Mmmmm pathia. Welly nice!

Still trying to find out what time jenny can get here, and also trying to find out if there is any way I can avoid driving...
Is the Lass OK for an early meeting point for early folk if so, and maybe the King George in Rusholme, we went in the Whitworth last week and we decided that it was merely pretending to be a pub.
"I'll have a pint of Guinness please. Oh it's off, um - OK I'll have a Stella then. That's off too? Hoegarden? Ah I see just been put in and it's not connected up yet... Oh well I shan't hurry back then!"

Is the King George the one we met in last time?
Dump &
Event Horizon Posted Feb 9, 2005
Nope that was the Clarence.
I think the other one is called the King George anyhow, and it's down the sidestreet which is next to ShereKhan. I'll find out for sure what the pub and street are called tomorrow (provided I remember to top up my phone).
Looks like Jenny might not come this weekend, so no taxiing for me.
We'll have to get her to come again, for curry one day, then Chinese another

I'm sorry! We both really want to come but bleeding w*rk is being most unreasonable. Apologies Andy for starting the ball rolling on this and then 'dumping' it all on you.
Can we make it up to you by coming for your birthday? Jools has two days off then. We promise to bring *lots* of and
Sus

Stooopid Work! It's just not worth it you know - well apart from the money they keep giving you...
Jenny and I have to go do some recording on Friday 18th with Waaaaayne, and I'll be at work during the day. Or is me Jools off on the weekend?
Even so if he's not & can find things to do while I'm working/fiddling then yeah. LOL Oooh hey you could take the kids up the Curry Mile for an early tea, then Jen and I could meet you later and go home - when you've got some take out for us
Will give you a call if I don't see you online. Why don't you have a time off in March ? I'm off then (2nd week)!
