"muffeln" actually is German but we've taken the freedom to decline it like an English word. Well, what it means... er... Leo.org defines a Muffel (n) as a Sourpuss. I think 'muffeln' (v) is best being described as being dethuthiastic ie: the opposite of enthusiastic
