There are a good selection of pubs/restaurants in and around Wokingham. Our favourites are outlined below with a brief summary of each.
Jamesons - Hi quality food and drink - local game, good scallops - no kids
Schezwan Inn - Superb Thai and good Chinese menus - very welcoming staff with some real characters also do takeaway at 10% discount
The Plough - Even if you have small children The Plough is great quality food and wines along the more traditional route - completely non-smoking restaurant
The Bulfinch - Good quality pub-grub and decent pint of Bass can get very busy on bank holidays - has plenty of space in pleasant beer garden.
