Extended information

The forest planet of Endor is home to many strange creatures and plants that can be found only on Endor. It has survived as an eco-system with relatively no influx from the rest of the galaxy. The thick and rapidly growing plant life make an form of settlement extremely difficult.

However there has been one successful settlement by the Republic on the planet. A small research station which is slowly catagorising and studying all the mative plant life in order to find cures and anti-dotes, as well as other things that may prove useful for the Republic. The small team of around twenty, live in a single building mounted on pillars to keep it away from the more dangerous floor dwelling creatures. The team comprises of Zoologists and biologists from across the galaxy, as well as a few hunters used to keep any hostile creatures in check.

There is also a second group of settlers on the planet. The native Ewoks have countless small villages dotted across the planets surface. These diminutive creatures have learnt to fashion basic tools for hunting, and live up amongst the tree tops. Whilist barbaric when compared to the Republic, they are a simple and content people, willing to leave the outside alone. The outside seems to accord them the same respect.
