Has anyone else noticed this similarity? Can anyone tell me why?

Can you tell the difference between the intros on:
1. Muddy Waters' 1947 recording of "I feel like going home" on Syndicate Chapter S.C.001 (1971) Back in the Early Days.
2. Eric Clapton's "Walkin' Blues" on Unplugged (Reprise, 1992)?
