The British Broadcasting Corporation is an institution that we all love to hate. The British public resents its mandatory licensing
fee and then complains that there is nothing on the box. Of course when British produced drama wins awards we all cry "Another success for the BBC Drama"
For some reason the BBC has always treated science fiction as children's programming, except Doctor Who which was always produced by the Drama division.
