EXPERIMENT LIVE ONLINE

Take part right now

I would like to discover whether people see other people as if they are a mirror image. For example When person A meets person B and B has something on their left earlobe e.g. a bit of food, A will often tell B and point to their right earlobe. Now if B sees A as a mirror image B will rub his/her left earlobe and get the food, otherwise they get it wrong. To investigate how we depict others I will need YOU to take part in this research.
All you need to do is go up to a member of your family and point to some where on the RIGHT (always the right) of your face (pretending there is something on it) and record which side the subject rubs. Then come back to this page and in the ‘Discuss this entry’ for the experiment reply either left or right. I will have the results here for you so observe. This is looking pretty interesting, and I've already hade one suggestion about the possible reason fo this huge trend that's developing.

RESULTS

Left (mirror) = 24
Right = 3
