Blade of The Stars, Glory of Kamino

- Taken from the side of The Blade Of The Stars

Crew Compliment:- 2000 personel, 10,000 troops.

Current Status:- Active

Mission log:
Kamino - Currently on route to *unspecified*

Brief Summary

The Blade of the Stars is the fourth ship to be created by the orders of Ma'rol Mannan. It is the first in a series of three carrier ships designed to take the fight to the enemy on the ground rather then in space. This is dramatically different to the twin roles of the Hammerhead and the Ice Queen. It doesnt have the hitting power of The Tiger Claw, but can hold out against most attackers due to its size.

The ship acts as barracks for the First Kaminoan infantry regiment. Its full compliment of ten thousand infantry men makes it a formidable formation capable of overwhelming cities across the galaxy.

Peace time

It is quite possible that the ship could serve in a humanitarian role. The amount of men that can be brought to the situation could greatly help rescue attempts in ecological disasters and could help in any situation that required vast amounts of people.

The troopers would also prove invaluable in any form of uprising that required military personel.

Warfare

The ships primary role is clearly ground warfare. The sheer amount of troopers that the Blade of The Stars can put to the feild is astounding, and is matched only by the super star destroyers in sheer volume. With its partner ships, a full 30000 troops can be deployed within a short period of time. Easily enough to overwhelm any city and even planetary defences. The troopers make ground fall either through the ship itself or through large transport vessels housed within the ship.

The Blade of the Stars also has a limited fighter-bomber wing (25 fighters in all) which can aid in both a ground campaign and in ship protection if no battleships are escorting.

The weapons systems on the Blade of the Stars are limited, but contain the following:

8 quad turbolaser turrets

20 laser cannons

3 missile/torpedo tubes

Sword of Tipoca, Glory of Kamino
