The thirty of them stared at the red Indian not knowing which way to turn, or which way to look. They hadn't seen someone like this for over 50 years. He had startled them. As he moved toward them they backed away.. Not a good start. After they had eaten some pizza, cleared up the mess and been told where the red indian had come from they began to feel a little bit better. The youngest went out for some and something to put in his peace pipe.
On the way to the shop he bumped into an old friend. They got talking and Smooch told him about a great party that was going on down the road next to the chippy. They sauntered off. Mitsy told Smooch about the red Indian. When they arrived at the house the bouncer told them to clear off, so they went to the shop to get the after all and Mitsy invited Smooch back to his house.
They walked into the living room. The twenty nine of them stopped staring at the red Indian and started staring at Smooch. He thought this would be a good time to tell them about the Straight Edge Philosophy.
A piece of hardware fell off the straight edge and all but two of them disappeared. There was a muffled silence.
...AND THEN R-E-A-L-I-T-Y KICKED IN...IT HAD WORKED!!!!!
The squaw was left sitting on the mantlepiece wondering why she had bothered having the party in the first place...
...the ferret that had wandered into the silence didn't have any idea what on earth they were talking about...
.. and the red indian was smashed into a thousand pieces by the squaw who then arranged for the ferret to be carted off to some animal rescue place.
Moral
You can go and catch your own ferrets the next time.
Learning from the past
This lady was a great pianist and comedienne. I am sorry I never met her, but perhaps some of her relatives (or his relatives for that matter) are still alive today.
