Pen holdy bits
Jacculus of Rome Started conversation Jan 27, 2000
Pen holdy bits are *really* annoying. When you get inevitably bored of whatever alleged educational/fun/improving (delete as applicable) activity you are meant to be engaged in at the moment, they provide a sitting target for wandering fingers to (in chronological order) pull, bend and inevitably break off. This has several disadvantages:
* It leaves a nasty stump on your pen
* you're left holding a bit of pen in what might seem from the outside to be a slightly foolish manner
* If you then, subsequently, put this bit of pen in your cloth pencil case(especially if the bit of pen is metal) it scrapes big holes in it which then cause your family lots of aggro looking for the mouse.

Well,I suppose generally mice wouldnt wish to eat pencil cases but mice are the generally accepted culprits for mysterious hole-making. Hmmmmmm.

Here, try some of this. It's rat paste - just smear it on your temples. Every gram corresponds to an extra point added on to your IQ.

* Peers into cyberspatial bathroom, inquisitively puts hand through wall and runs away screaming with pain
