Mars
Created | Updated Jan 28, 2002
The fourth planet of the Sol system (galactic coordinates ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha).
Unlike the third planet, Earth, Mars is generally assumed to be uninhabited. It sports a thin atmosphere and a dry surface (lack of moisture, not just lack of booze). Mostly consisting of red dust and rock, Mars has long attracted the attention of the residents of the third planet, however, as of yet, there has been no attempt by humans to visit. This is probably just as well since there appears to be no hotels and certainly are no bars. Not to mention that the leading space exploration agency in the sector appears to have great difficulty in sending probes to Mars, so any visitors are just as likely to wind up elsewhere.
As a vacation spot, Mars rates a 2 out of 5.
