The University of Calgary Wind Ensemble is comprised of the most advanced wind and percussion students at the University of Calgary. It has earned the reputation as one of the principal groups of its kind in Canada and one of the leaders in its field in the world, which has resulted in performances at CBDNA and WASBE conferences.

The UCWE is under the direction of Dr. Glenn D. Price, a noted percussionist and widely acknowledged to be one of the foremost conductors of his generation.
