For those who don't know about Radio 2, BBC Radio 2 is the flagship radio station in the BBC, with 13 million listeners. You can listen on line from the BBC Radio 2 Website at www.bbc.co.uk/radio2 or if you live in the UK, you can tune into 88-91 FM
DJ's currently on Radio 2 include
Terry Wogan, Ken Bruce, Jeremy Vine, Steve Wright, Johnnie Walker, Jonathon Ross, Richard Allinson, Bob Harris, Paul Gambacinni, Desmond Carrington, David Jacobs and Micheal Parkinson.
The Music Played comes from early 1900's right through to the current chart hits, with a variety of shows specialising in specific styles, from Jazz and Light Classical through to 60's and 70's rock and pop.
BBC Radio 2 broadcasts throughout the UK 24 Hours per day, with most shows being broadcast live from BBC Broadcasting House in London, and BBC Birmingham, with a few outside broadcasts, such as South bu Southwest in Texas, and Desmond Carrington broadcasts from his home in Perthshire, Scotland.
