Hair Cuts

one of the most frustrating events in life. One sits
in a pneumatic chair as a hairdress trims away chatting happily about
last Saturday football, apparently paying no attention to what you
asked them to do. This is not a malicious act on their part, merely an
inveitable consequence of human interaction. One arrives at the hair
dressers with the perfect image of what is to be done; the description
given to the hair dresser of this dream style is decidedly lacking and
actually inspires the image of a completely differnt cut. The hairdresser's
description of just what they are going to do is then equally lacking and
lulls one into believing that everything will work out in the end.
Thirty minutes later one firmly tells the hairdresser "Yes,
it's exacly what I wanted," and leaves wondering if it can be fixed with
gel.
