I used to frequent the Valhalla Inn, but then a whole load of newbie gods took it over and ran it into the ground.

Thats why I never tried to become a god. Sure the immortality and control over various forces of nature are fun but then your followers and worshippers screw things up and think they know what you want.

I know, just look at Pink Fluffy Duck, who came to h2g2 from the Celebdaq boards. She hadn't a clue about GuideML so she wrote it in plain text, but her PS said "What do you think of my space? It's pink and fluffy!". Since she was a duck I decided to help her out and gave her code to make her space pink and fluffy. How does she repay me? By using one of the forbidden smileys at me and proclaiming that I wasn't her god!

Forbidden smilies? Like say or ? Just hypothetically.
