It was a sci-fi show from the late 80s/early 90s. It was about a guy called Sam Beckett (played by Scott Bakula who now plays Captain Archer in Star Trek Enterprise) who, one day in 1995, created a time machine. But unfortunatly it didn't work and so Sam found himself 'leaping' from person to person throughout the period of his life-time. He's aided by a hologram called Al who comes from his time ans has a computer called 'ziggy'. Esentially, each week Sam had to solve problems that were troubling the people he was inhabiting so that he could 'leap' into the next person. He only did this in the hope of getting home, but he never did.

I wonder if the use of pestacides on our crops killed the milennium bug...
