Funk

1 Conversation

Funk has several meanings in the english language, and probably some in other languages as well. The word funk can be used as a verb, adjective or a noun. Many variations exist of the word in American Slang like, funky, funkage, funkless, funker, funkett and the ever popular funkorama.

Examples:

Verb - I feel like funk today.

Adjective - What are you doing? Why, I'm funking, of course!

Noun - Look at that funk.

Funk is not a word that can be taken lightly as it has a very heavy sound, anyone heard using the word funk in any of it's myriad of forms will be sure to have, at least, the attention of one person that is near.

To really understand the word funk, one must have funk, or be, funky. But don't take it from me. My whole funkdom is funkfree.
