It's choice of decor can be defined in many ways, but the local adage "Load 'o' crap" is very appropriate. At some point in the past, a misguided individual has clearly deemed that a chaotic, even anarchic approach to pub decor would be chic, yet cheap. The staggering ineptitude of this approach suggests to the author a deeper, subliminal, and frankly more sinister motive. The idea of creating an appealing environment for locals through the art of hanging every piece of junk left in the garage from the ceiling would seem to the un-initiated curious, if not moronic. And yet, as locals return year after year for their travels to see the staggering crowds on a Friday the calls of "Is this place still going?", and the hasty "So they finally binned all that junk from the ceilings eh?" are all issued in vain.
The only logical conclusion would be that the blatently ugly, and frankly offensive decor is merely cover for the extensive prefusion of mind altering technology.
Some people will, of course, presume that the cordial company and fine ales found within the pub are the incessant lure for the local populace. People of this persuasion I will refer to as tourists or Genetically Indifferent Tasteless Saps, people who wouldn't know ambience if it invaded their leg and anexed their foot.
I would therefore suggest that any visitors (human or otherwise) do not set foot (tentacle or flipper) within these walls for fear of being subdued by the mind altering machines hidden in the chaotic decor and never seeing their loved ones again.
You have been warned.
