Netscape 4.7; windoze 98. I filled in the fields (my icqname, h2g2name, uin, usernumber, and checked the ACE box... I think I filled them in correctly, there's the chance that I didn't put my h2g2 number but I think I did); pressed post; the page didn't load properly but they never do; I had error 404 in both the conversation frames, I reloaded to find that it had posted NaN and you'd wondered what that was. I can have another go if you'd like.

But did you have to post Nan?!?!?!?? ARGH! Now each time someone joins that forum will post up on your page. Your choice. I can't think what's wrong. Can you just tell me your details?
Sorry!
Alon (aka Mr.Cynic) Posted Apr 11, 2000
I do apologise, I didn't understand where the "Nan" came from. Awfully sorry. Please tell me your ICQ details and I'll try and fix it.
Sorry!

Well, you're on the list! And as you're an AOLer (I'm refering to using Netscape btw), could you tell me what problems the list has - e.g. no status sorting etc.. Thanks
Sorry!

well it displays much better in IE; where you have new lines for each of the form fields to be filled in in internet exploder it doesn't do that in Netscape so half of a label may be on one line and the other half and the edit box may be on the next;
for the Unknown/disabled (where everyone happens to be, although I don't know if anyones online anyway) its impossible to read the list 'cause the drop down list is about as narrow as it is possible to have a drop down list and continue to see that its there... in other words you can't read the items. Inasmuch as I can read some of the list items I and double click on them, the (begginings o their) names don't match with the name displayed in the display user details boxes.... although it does take you to the homepage of this researcher okay.
