The Creator of God

The problem at hand is of course, "What was there before God?"
Looking from a strictly Christian view point, the Bible explains that in the beginning there was God. Then He made some stuff, and the rest we know (although a couple of the Bible stories are decidedly dubious).
The point is that it defies logic to simply accept that there simply was just a God. Nothing made Him. He just was.
I have another, more compelling hypothesis.
I like to call it Bobism. You may call it what ever you like.
It goes a bit like this...
American television and film producers have a fascinating obsession with the name "Bob." Possibly, the whole of the United States does, but I don't know for sure since I've never set foot in that country.
Anyway, it seems that in just about every film or TV show that one watches, a character called Bob springs up. Perhaps he is a plumber, or an electrician. Hence we name him "Bob the Plumber", or "Bob the Electrician" depending on his profession.
In the same way, practically anything could be called Bob, even inanimate objects. For example: Bob the Chair, Bob the Table, Bob the Feather Duster. So, if this holds true, then there must (maybe) exist a "Bob the Amazing Omnipotent, Omniscient Hero."
Of course, as we all well know, a hero can do anything, so Bob the Amazing Omnipotent, Omniscient Hero may have created God if he felt like it and if he does in fact exist.
Unfortunately, this theory only really succeeds in renaming God Bob the Amazing Omnipotent, Omniscient Hero, which is a bit impractical when trying to pray.
Thank you for your time.
