why has everybody forgotten Jake Thackray?? We remember the Beatles, and others who performed at the same time as him. Their lyrics werent half as good as Jakes and his guitar playing was superb. The BBC must have terrific archive material. They did one good programme on BBC4 last year, Why dont they bring out a DVD, I am sure it would do good business and b ring Jake back to the good position he was in before he sadly died. I have collected all the recordings of him that I can and there are some good ones on various internet sites. One of "On again" and "the Bull" and his best "Lah-de-Dah" show him act ually performing and it is so great to see his quirky face again.
Do hope other people will struggle to get Jake remembered and replayed often.
