A Yummy summer treat for you to share. Here are the easy steps:
1.Prepare your crust. Find a recipes for a cheesecake crust or cookie crust. I just buy one ready-made from the store.
2. Prepare your berries. Wash and remove the stems of one pound of fresh strawberries. Slice all of them.
3.Assemble the pie. Get the crust In the pie pan. Fill the pan with the strawberries. Cover the strawberries with whipped cream.
4. Eat it! Have everyone grab the fork and dig in. Trying to cut it up into slices is futile. Make sure every bite has whipped cream, so keep the can handy.
Obviously this recipe can be modified. Use different kinds of fresh fruit, but it’s best if the fruit is slightly tart, to balance with the whipped cream. You can also try to use different crusts, like a butter crust or a Crisco crust. Just bake it, let it cool, and then assemble the pie.
