Please: (We don't really have a word for that. Sometimes you can use tak, which also means thanks, but no one will be offended if you don't. Or you could use the VERY polite: Hvis du vil være så venlig in the end of the sentence)
could you please... Gider du / Vil du være så venlig (More formal)
Thanks: Tak
Thanks a lot: Mange tak / tusind tak (1000 thanks)
My name is ....: Jeg hedder...
hello and welcome to the Guide: Goddag og velkommen til guiden
Where do you live: Hvor bor du?
I'm from ...: Jeg er fra ...
I dont understand: Jeg forstår ikke
Good Morning: God morgen
Good Day: Goddag
Good Evening: God aften
Sleep Well: Sov godt
Dream something nice: Drøm sødt
Sorry/Excuse me: Undskyld
Your danish is too complicated for me. Dit danske er for kompliceret til mig
I try to write danish: Jeg prøver at skrive dansk
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year: Glædelig jul
Happy New Year: godt nytår
And: og
Do you speak english: Taler du engelsk
See you: Vi ses
Bye: farvel / hej
Warning: If you talk to a dane, sooner or later he'll ask you to say "Rødgrød med fløde" simply because you can't pronounce it.
By the way, it is a kind of dessert made of mashed, boiled fruits with cream.
And please, dont ask me to write how it is pronounced...
