Hi Opti
First good entry.
In weight Golden Retriever's should be 27-34 kg (60-75 lb). There adorable appearance makes them ideal for marketing campaigns such as those for >what ?????????< .
You left this unfinished I think

>>First good entry.
really? what about the others that have been picked?
I think I will omit that advert bit as I found out that the adverts are more concerned with labradors.

"Although times have changed and very few people (if any) go out shooting"
Actually a lot of people still go out shooting. There are plenty of working retrievers still out there.
"Golden Retriever's genetics" I'm not sure that 'genetics' is the word that you want here. Won't all dogs have the same genes as they are the same species? I may be mistaken but I think what you really mean is 'Golden Retriever's breeding'.
"Golden Retriever's are also very protective" No need for the apostrophe there.
"Not to be mistaken for the Golden Labrador" There's no such thing as a 'Golden Labrador'. It's a Labrador Retriever and happens to be a golden colour - which is classed as 'yellow' not gold.
"Brushing at least once a week may be sufficient if they are not moulting." Long haired breeds should be brushed every day - otherwise their undercoat matts up, it becomes impossible to brush out and can pull on the dog's skin causing skin infections.
