Wales; the land of Song and scenery.
Towards the start of the 1990s it became quite industrial down south, some heavy, quite a lot of high-technology too.
"Ok so we do get all our PC bits from Coventry..it's only a few miles into England!".
Weither it deserves the title land of song or not, you can judge by yourself by looking at the work of the:
Manic Street Preachers/
Catatonia/
Stereophonics/
Super Furry Animals/
The Foofs (search for foofs on Altavista)/
Shirley Bassey/
Tom Jones......and many more.
It has some excellent universities and some excellent pubs. The west is very picturesque with plenty of genuine, great welsh folk..as up north too. Try a little of their language Welsh and watch them warm inside with national pride. They are very proud of their language...like the French.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
