The Pain of Love from season 2 - The Becoming part 2
(Angelus has opened the mouth of Acathla and he and Buffy were fighting as Willow was doing the soul restoration spell, which works)
(A flash goes through Angelus and he drops to his knee's and looks up at Buffy)
Angel - "Buffy....Whats going on?"
(He stands up)
Angel - "Where are we?....I don't remember"
(Buffy lowers her sword)
Buffy - "Angel?"
Angel - "You're hurt"
(She looks at her arm, then back at Angel and the two of them hug)
Angel - "God....I feel like I havn't seen you in months. Everything's so muddled...I..."
(He kisses her cheek)
(She starts to cry and then as she looks up she notices Acathla's mouth opening and stands back)
Angel - "What's happened?"
Buffy - "Ssshh" (She says putting her fingers to his lips)
Buffy - "Don't worry about it" (She kisses him) "I love you"
Angel - "I love you"
Buffy - "Close your eyes"
(Angel closes his eyes and she kisses him, still crying)
(Then she drives the sword through his heart)
(He reaches out for her with with one arm)
Angel - "Buffy?"
(Then he is sucked into the mouth of Acathla and then it closes)
(She starts crying again)
(The beautiful music (Cloes Your Eyes by Christopher Beck) starts to play)
(Buffy walks down the street home)
(Then a shot of her mum walking into her bedroom)
Joyce - "Buffy?"
(She notices the letter on the bed, reads it and starts crying as she realises Buffy has gone)
(Shot of the scooby's talking in front of the high school)
Giles - "Willow are you sure you should be out of bed?"
Willow - "Look who's talking"
Giles - "Yes"
Cordy - "Any word?"
Xander - "You guys havn't seen her either?"
Willow - "No"
Oz - "But we know the world didn't end caus, check it out"
Giles - "Well we, uh we went back to the mansion, it was empty and Acathla was, was dorment"
Willow - "I think the spell worked. I felt something go through me"
Cordy - "Plus the orb did that cool glow thing"
Xander - "Well maybe it wasn't in time, maybe she had to kill him before the cure could work"
Oz - "Well then, she'd wanna be alone I guess"
Willow - "Or maybe Angel was saved and they wanna be alone together"
Giles - "Perhaps"
Cordy - "Well she's gotta show up sooner or later, we start up school"
Willow - "Yeah, she'll be here in a while"
(The music (Full Of Grace by Sarah McLachlan) starts playing again as the gang walk off into school and then a shot of Buffy across the street watching them)
(She turns and walks down the street with a bag on her shoulder)
(She gets on a bus and leaves town)
