Background

Well, there's a lot to be said for anyoneone who can dress up as a clown in public. Most, however, aren't rapping as well. I think that's a good thing, but fans of The Insane Clown Posse¹ would think otherwise, as that is what they do. They are hated by the media and critics, and were apparently not playeed on MTV, but their followers stuck with them and they ended up successful without advertising.

ICP seems to consist of two rappers from Detroit. If that doesn't scare you away, they are preaching to the world the six messages of the Dark Carnival. They release these in records².

Origins

From the streets of Detroit cam the Inner City Posse. The home to Violent J³ and Shaggy 2 Dope⁴, who later were visited by the spirit of the Dark Canival and formed ICP to tell the world its six messages.

Wrestling

Expecting golf? No, just to make it an even more unusual combo, ICP participates in wrestling! Starting in the WWF, they we're unhappy with being grouped with sideshow people, and lef to join the World Championship Wrestling group, where they met someone named Vampiro, who they then tag teamed with.
