Hi! I just got here and I don't have a clue where to go-so many conversations! So, where's a good place to go? BTW I'm mostly harmless...what? stop staring at me like that...come on it wasn't THAT bad. Ok I'm gonna shut up now, CIAO!

Just for a social chat check out the busiest forums, there are plenty of people around here and they're all mostly harmless. Try out the Forum and Firkin http://www.h2g2.com/F24306?thread=62428 or Aroma Cafe http://www.h2g2.com/F26140?thread=63439 or Doughnut Stall http://www.h2g2.com/F26840?thread=59861 for starters I've given you the links to the current threads so you'll not geet lost in *all* the backlog. ;-) DD :-)

For social circles, check out the Overwhelmingly Huge Guide to H2G2 Clubs, which is beginning to live up to its name: http://www.h2g2.com/A270325 You'll find links and descriptions of all the coolest and most active forums.

But don't forget that we want you to help us build this guide too!
h2g2 has an amazingly vibrant and productive community which I am sure that you will get to know pretty quickly. What the inhouse editors would really
like you to do, once you have settled in, is to write us some guide entries. Tell us about what you know, what interests you and what
you passionately like and hate.
Just click on the Tell h2g2 button and you should get a blank form. You can find out what we already have in the guide by either
searching the guide using the
grey box above or by using the catagorisation system which can be found in the light blue box on the left hand of the front page.
A good guide to what we are looking for can be found at http://www.h2g2.com/A53209 .
