What a place to go to school in. To start with I was told I would have my head flushed down 'the bogs'. As the 'bus to Eastleigh had no adults on board, (The driver was in a seperate cab in these days) I had my hair set on fire, got hit about the head, and beaten up several times. At school I was in the middle 'stream'. Where we never got taught French (probably too thick!) The English teacher I had one year at least could hardly speak the language. The Woodwork teacher wanted to advance at the pace of the fastest and best pupil. The Headmaster was, I'd better not say! Someone might read this one day! I left school at 15 because I was due to take the CSE exam. Which was of no use at all. Also the teachers encouraged me to go. When I went to visit the school (which by then had moved to Fair Oak) The teachers who saw me turned their backs and walked away.
So I really enjoyed myself at this school!!
