My first entry is a simple one. I just wonder occasionally who it was that started certain everyday thingamebobs:
Like who was the first to milk a cow? I hear you cry. Indeed, and who first thought, after leaving their milk for a few months, seeing it covered by mould and gone solid, that it would make a nice accompaniment to wine after dinner? Also, who was it that first took a load of small dark fruit, threw them in a barrel, stamped on them with bare feet, stuck it in jars with fungus, and left it for years before drinking it?
