the baker tower rifle

1 Conversation

this was a gun used by the British in the Napolionic wars, you may know it as the gun that Sharp uses in Bernard Cornwalls books. Anyway the really intresting thing about a baker rifle is that it had 7 not 6 grooves down the barrell to spin the bullet this meant however that for every hundered paces they were away from you you had to aim 20 to the right as it spun the bullet that far to the left!!!!!!!!
