Teenagers

Actually, I'm tempted to leave it at just "mostly harmless" but I don't think Ford would be too happy. Being a teenager on earth mans a few things, most teenagers have these explained to them in a patronising video when they are 12, just in case they don't realise what is happening to them.
Biologically, it is the increase in the production of the sex hormone (testosterone or oestrogen) which causes a number of developmental changes which I'd rather not go into. As for the emotional side, it basically means you'll never know what you are thinking, except that you want to have sex.
If you come across a teenager whilst hitch-hiking my advice would be stay away, in particular if they offer you a lift! I drive and I wouldn't trust myself to give me a lift, let alone suggest anyone else does. Above all treat us with great suspicion, there is usually a hidden motive behind our niceness!
Identifying a teenager is easy, look out for acne (a classic one), mood swings, excescive wearing of fashion labels and above all look for a person who thinks they know it all! If you meet one, don't panic. Best advice is to offer them your towel and a copy of a popular earth publication such as FHM or Loaded. You might want to buy a new towel afterwards though!
Some teenagers are genuinely good people (like myself) but on the whole, wait until we grow up before accepting a lift!
