A very strange place in North London, which is also a very strange place, so Islington fits in quite well there. It is popular for its high numbers of restaurants serving novelty cocktails and warmed over kidney beans for more money than is sensible. It is known widely as the home of groups of people known as Artists or Bohemians, which is generally a polite way of saying that they have no money but lots of good ideas.

Most of the people who visit there wish that they were also Artists or Bohemians, but won't ever be, because they have far too much money, and very few good ideas.
